TechnoGenetics has been distributing important products for cytogenetics in Italy for years. In 2005 TechnoGenetics established a Molecular genetics division with a Research and Development lab dedicated to the development of kits for pre and post natal determination of chromosomal abnormalities and oncology.
The main endeavour are production of kits for array CGH, a technique representing a step forward in cytogenetics and allowing remarkable time and cost sparing, and production of a complete panel of fish probes. Technogenetics catalogue can also boast a wide variety of products for exclusive distribution in Italy. In addition to steadfast brandnames like Irvine Scientific (CHANG Medium) and CAMBIO (StarFISH) Technogenetics is also distributing Applied Spectral Imaging SKY systems and systems for image analysis for kariotyping, FISH, CGH, and nucleic acid extraction.
