Since 1975 Bouty has been successfully producing diagnostic products for laboratory use or self-diagnosis, based on enzyme immunoassays (ELISA), radioimmunoassays (RIA) and membrane rapid tests for hormone determination and infectious disease testing.
They have several applications, i.e. pregnancy (ToRCH complex), endocrinology (Thyroid), sexually transmitted diseases (STD), autoimmunity. Established in 1983, Technogenetics, from the very beginning, has been focusing on development of new in-vitro technologies, proposing a wide range of reagents both for biotechnology and pharmacology. Technogenetics, acquired by Bouty in 1994, is today managing all the production, distribution and marketing activities of the Bouty's diagnostics division. The listed products are state of the art in infectious disease testing and represent the result of 30 years' experience in manufacture of immunochemistry kits, continuous improvement and pioneering of new technologies. Since 2005 Technogenetics have also been producing and distributing kits for molecular genetics.
